Dr. Michael Norris recently spent several days working with our partners at the National Institute of Veterinary Research and the Institute for Microbiology and Biotechnology establishing serological assays to detect antibodies to Burkholderia psuedomallei, the pathogen responsible for Melioidosis. We’re partnered to study the ecology and epidemiology of the pathogen and disease in North Central Vietnam.
